Blue jays are clever, noisy and busy every autumn, burying acorns they may never come back for. That is how many new oaks get planted, and we love them for it.
The artwork
A hand-coloured naturalist plate shows the jay among oak leaves and acorns in crisp, fine linework. Vivid cobalt, slate and warm tan watercolour sit on parchment cream in a tidy scientific layout that looks handsome from every side.

Care
Hand wash only, using warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Not dishwasher safe, which protects the print. Not microwave safe, and please do not freeze it. Clean the straw with a slim straw brush and let everything air-dry.
