The First Song After a Long Winter
Robins keep singing late into a spring evening, long after most of the neighbourhood has gone quiet. We painted this one in full voice on an apple bough, with the orchard lit gold behind him.
The artwork
Rich painterly brushwork fills the cup with pink-and-white apple blossom and fresh green leaves. The golden-hour sky runs from butter yellow to a gentle blush, and the robin's rusty breast sits right where your eye lands first.

Care
Hand wash only, using warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Not dishwasher safe, which protects the print. Not microwave safe, and please do not freeze it. Clean the straw with a slim straw brush and let everything air-dry.
