Bluebirds are the birds people put up nest boxes for, then check on every evening. This pair sits close together in a dogwood, the way a couple settles onto a porch swing after supper.
The artwork
Loose watercolour lets a rose-gold sunset bleed softly behind white four-petal dogwood blossoms. The two birds sit on the front of the cup, while the flowering branch carries on round the back, where the washes fade to a pale blush.

Care
Hand wash only, using warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Not dishwasher safe, which protects the print. Not microwave safe, and please do not freeze it. Clean the straw with a slim straw brush and let everything air-dry.
