Swallows never seem to rest; they stitch the air above a garden all evening long. This scene catches them mid-dive through hanging wisteria, light and quick as a spring breeze.
The artwork
Cascades of lavender wisteria drop from the rim on a warm cream ground, painted in delicate chinoiserie ink and wash. Barn swallows sweep between the blooms in soft violet, sage and slate blue, circling the tumbler in graceful arcs.

Care
Hand wash only, using warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Not dishwasher safe, which protects the print. Not microwave safe, and please do not freeze it. Clean the straw with a slim straw brush and let everything air-dry.
